Jason's journey

Jason lives in a small town called St.Helens with his partner and three children. Both Jason and his partner work full-time for the NHS, Jason is based at St.Helens Hospital. When he’s not helping people, Jason enjoys taking his family on day trips -

"We like to do different things every day with our three children, that's only after they've done their homework and tidied their bedrooms. We go out for meals, pick fruit, bake cakes, and do arts and crafts - things to create memories." 

Why did you want/need a new car?

I have been with First Response Finance for around 12 years and have had 5 cars in that time. We downsized from our 7-seater to a smaller car as our two children (who are 5 and 6) outgrew their car seats and only needed booster seats. We felt that having a bigger car wasn't needed anymore and it would allow my partner to drive a smaller car once she passed her driving test.

However, we had an unexpected pregnancy and our third child came along in September 2024 - we're still in shock to this day! We then need a bigger car as it was a tight squeeze with three children in the back.

How did you find out about First Response Finance?

I found out about First Response Finance by chance when I was searching for my first car... 12 years on, I can only say excellent things about them. They're an amazing company that has supported me every single year, through the good times and bad times. The company is understanding, professional and caring - this is why I've chosen to stay with First Response Finance.

The application process was easy to use and complete. The staff at First Response Finance were always at hand to support me, which made life so much easier when applying for a new car.

Would you recommend First Response Finance to your friends and family?

I would definitely recommend First Response Finance to all of my family and friends when applying for a used car. 

The reason for this is because First Response Finance have supported me for the last 12 years. The politeness of all the staff - believe me I've dealt with many staff. They've always been understanding, helpful, and completely professional every time I've needed them. Absolutely amazing company!
